How To Verify Your Website Ownership

What is google site verification : Verification is the process of proving that you own the site or app that you claim to own. We need to confirm ownership because once you are verified for a site or app you have access to its private Google Search data, and can affect how Google Search crawls it.

There are several verification method:
  • HTML File Upload
  • Domain Name Provider
  • HTML Tag
  • Google site
You Upload your google site verification file on server. another one paste this code into index file.

1. Sign in to Google Search Console

Go to, sign in, or create a new account. 
Then, click on "Add a site", and enter the URL of your Website or blog. 

2. Get the <meta> tag value

Click the Alternate Method tab and then select HTML Tag in the options. Now all you have to do is copy the meta tag from Google webmaster tools, which may look something like this:
<meta name="google-site-verification" content="Your-verification-code">
Copy This code in your website index.html file. after verify your ownership than continue. after this process your website is verify and showing on google.
